THE ORIGINAL EMBOLIZATION MEETING RETURNED AND WAS BIGGER AND BETTER IN 2008
GEST 2008 was a tremendous success, allowing the more than 900 attendees from 50 different countries the opportunity to meet and exchange their knowlegde in the field of Embolization.
The 2008 meeting returned once more to beautiful Barcelona - June 5-8, 2008 - at a larger, upgraded venue, refreshed from the ground up. The curriculum retained its trademark of highly focused plenary lectures by a large and internationally renowned faculty on all aspects of embolization, including basic materials sessions, peripheral vascular disease, trauma, visceral artery and venous interventions (including ablation), pediatric and neurointerventional therapies (and neuro tools used in the periphery), women's health, aortic disease, vascular malformations, gatrointestinal bleeding, liver disease, non-vascular procedures, cell-based therapies, etc.
The main aim of the annual GEST meeting is to provide the highest quality innovative Embolization-focused education. Bringing to you the highest level of scientific, clinical, practice building, and practical technical education about the new procedures, therapies, materials and devises, their results and relevance for patient care, and imaging.
On behalf of the Founders of GEST, Jafar Golzarian, Ziv J Haskal and Marc Sapoval we would like to thank all our faculty, participants, partners and exhibitors for their individual contributions to the meeting, and are looking forward to working together in Paris April 2009 and on further Global editions of the meeting.
